About Me

My name is Mike Gurak. I have been creating websites since 2000. I was the webmaster at the software company I used to work for. In addition I have a few websites on the internet and have had countless others in the past. I recently started designing web templates.

I started programming when I was 13 on our family's Atari 400. I have since taught myself BASIC in many different forms including Visual Basic 6, as well as ASP, PHP, and C#. I have always been a hobbyist programmer though.

I taught myself PaintShop Pro, Photoshop, and Photoshop Express. I can do some complex things in each. I enjoy photo editing very much.

MG Templates is my first foray into the world of website design. I'm trying to create unique templates that I hope will appeal to many people. Website design is the perfect marriage of programming and art for me. I have taken to it very quickly and easily. As I continue to hone my skills I'm hoping to create even more different templates.
